Physical Therapist 2026-2027Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities, including preschool-aged children. This position supports the development of motor skills and functional abilities that enable students to participate more fully in educational activities.
Essential Duties:
POSITION: School Psychologist - Full Time and Part Time
The psychologist will assist school personnel in the identification, assessment, placement, and re-evaluation of children who come under the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, gifted and other children as appropriate, provide consultation services to teachers, parents and other school personnel on behavioral and academic interventions as well as facilitate mental health services with outside agencies if necessary.

POSITION: Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Full Time and Part Time
To provide vision impaired services to students with disabilities including assessment, intervention, and evaluations.
Pay Rate: $18.50 - $28.21 hour based on applicable experience
Immediate Supervisor: Transportation Supervisor
Ensure safety of students
Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school and school related events
Follow assigned routes and schedules
Maintain required records and information
Report any mechanical problems to the utility worker or supervisor
Keep assigned vehicle neat and clean
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of changes in driving laws as they apply to transporting school children

UTILITY WORKER
Position: Transportation Utility Worker (11-month position)
Reports to: Director of Transportation
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Description: Provides maintenance service to the transportation system of the Hamilton City School District, keeping all buses operating in a safe
and efficient manner; may act as a substitute bus driver for routes or field trips.
Qualifications: Excellent driving skills with a valid CDL with school bus, air brake, and passenger endorsements; knowledge of mechanical tools; familiarity with engine components
Physical Demands: Regularly lifts parts up to 150 pounds; ability to work in confined spaces for lengthy periods of time; repeated turning/twisting; repeated push/pull on fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders, elbows, and back; climbing up and down on bus hoods and ladders; reaching and working with hands over head; repeated movements to and from the floor/ground; standing and working on concrete.
Overtime is expected with this position, as the District may still need the Utility Worker to drive a bus depending on driver numbers.
Reports to the Transportation Lot at the designated time to unlock gates and office and perform necessary preparation for getting buses out; checks all buses for “empty” placards at the end of routes.
Must be available after hours and weekends for bus breakdowns
Responsible for spot bus inspections with the State of Ohio, and annual inspections with the State of Ohio.
Ensures that a spare bus is started each day. Keeps the spare bus clean and ready to go out on route if needed.
Washes school buses
Assists in starting buses, particularly in cold weather
Makes minor repairs to buses, such as replacing seat covers, floors, steps, changing light bulbs, replacing lenses and mirrors, etc.
Keeps the work area around fuel pumps clean. May perform snow removal around fuel pumps.
Drives a spare bus to stranded vehicles when a breakdown/accident occurs. May assist in making minor field repairs (such as jump-starting a bus) when those are practical.
May act as a substitute bus driver on a regular route or field trip.
During the summer, is responsible for thorough cleaning, washing and waxing, checkout, and minor repair in order to ready buses for annual state inspection; drives and moves buses during inspection procedure.
May drive vehicles to the repair shop as needed
Keeps updated reports by vendors and ensures that vendors’ maintenance and repair reports are complete.
Maintains inventory and garage cleanliness/organization,
Keeps an accurate record of sub buses with driver name, bus number, and date.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.
