Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Parent Educator to join our Parents as Teachers team for the 2026-2027 school year! This position plays a vital role in supporting families and promoting optimal early development for children from pregnancy through kindergarten by partnering with parents and caregivers through home visits and family engagement. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 60 college hours in early childhood development with a minimum of two years experience working directly with young children under the age of five. Certification in early childhood education, elementary education, or five years of experience in a pre-school setting is preferred. Continuing education is required to maintain program requirements. The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Student Monitor at Raymore Elementary. This will be a 5.5 hour per day position with the primary responsibility to supervise groups of students during lunch and recess. Salary: $15.00 - $17.93/hour based upon previous experience in a similar position.
Each summer the Technology Department at the Raymore-Peculiar School District hires summer interns. The specific job duties include moving, connecting, installing and cleaning computers. This position does not require specific technical skills; however, computer interest is recommended. The job requires considerable walking, lifting, and working on ladders. The hours may vary each day, but it is considered a 40 hour per week position. Typical hours would be 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. This is a temporary position. The position start date is June 1st and ends July 31st.
